Bill Clinton’s health is again drawing concern after photos surfaced of him and Hillary leaving the Hamptons on August 30. The 79-year-old former president, wearing a blue jacket and tan hat, appeared to need assistance exiting a car. What caught the most attention, however, was a case resembling a Propaq MD medical transport monitor and defibrillator trailing the couple. Social media reactions ranged from sympathy to mockery. “Pray for him,” one fan wrote, while others bluntly noted Clinton has “been looking bad.” Trolls, meanwhile, mocked Hillary’s outfit.
It isn’t the first time his health has raised eyebrows. Earlier this summer, he appeared frail at a New York event promoting the Clintons’ new book The First Gentleman. Video showed him carefully balancing as he greeted fans, while Hillary, polished in champagne-toned attire, signed autographs.
Clinton has never admitted to using a portable defibrillator, but his medical history is well-documented: a quadruple bypass in 2004, a collapsed lung in 2005, a coronary stent in 2010, and a serious infection in 2021. He was also hospitalized in December 2024 with a fever.
Despite recurring health scares, Clinton maintains a busy public schedule. Most recently, he attended the May 2025 funeral of former Labor Secretary Alexis Herman. Beyond health speculation, Bill and Hillary are slated to testify before the House Oversight Committee in October regarding Epstein-related investigations.
