Spanish pole vaulter Gemma Tamarit has been making waves in youth athletics, competing at both the 2023 and 2024 Spanish Indoor Under-18 Championships. In the 2023 event, she came in as the top-ranked athlete with a personal best of 1.71 meters. She attempted to raise the bar to 1.76 meters but missed her final jump, leaving her record unchanged.

By 2024, Tamarit showed marked improvement. Competing again at the Indoor U18 Championships, she placed third overall with a best jump of 3.50 meters. Footage from the event highlighted her second attempt at 3.60 meters, reflecting her growing strength and skill in the sport.

Her back-to-back appearances in these championships have attracted attention from fans and athletics enthusiasts, many of whom are eager to follow her development as she continues training for higher levels of competition. Tamarit’s steady progress demonstrates both her talent and determination to push past previous limits.

As the 2025 indoor season approaches, expectations are high for the young Spanish vaulter. Supporters hope to see her improve further and challenge new heights. With her consistent growth and rising profile, Tamarit has already established herself as one of Spain’s promising young athletes to watch.
