A six-year-old girl who died in a tragic go-kart accident while celebrating her sister’s birthday at an adventure park in Port St. Lucie has been identified as Emma Riddle. The heartbreaking incident happened Saturday at Urban Air Adventure Park. Police say Emma was riding in a go-kart with an adult when another cart crashed into them. She was rushed by helicopter to HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital but sadly passed away from her injuries the following morning.
The park shut down following the incident as authorities launched an investigation. A state inspector from the Florida Department of Agriculture visited the facility this week, as the department oversees go-kart tracks classified as carnival rides. Officials are still determining what went wrong.
According to reports, the park’s parent company has faced multiple lawsuits in the past involving safety incidents. Urban Air has not yet released a statement on this fatal crash.

In a moving obituary, Emma’s parents described her as “full of life, love, and light,” adding that she deeply loved God and touched everyone she met. A GoFundMe has been created to help with funeral expenses. Emma’s memorial service will be held Saturday, December 13, at 10 a.m. at Calvary Chapel.
