Posted on December 13, 2025 By admin

Camryn Magness, the singer-songwriter who rose to prominence alongside major pop acts of the 2010s—including One Direction, Cody Simpson, Greyson Chance, and Fifth Harmony—has died at the age of 26. Magness passed away on December 5 after suffering fatal injuries in an electric scooter accident in Miami Beach, according to reports from People and TMZ. Police responded to a collision involving an electric mobility scooter and a pedestrian around 7:52 p.m.

All individuals were transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, where Camryn later died from her injuries. Her family announced her passing on December 9 through her official Facebook page, sharing a video of Camryn scuba diving—an image that reflected her adventurous and vibrant spirit. In a heartfelt statement, they described her as a radiant presence whose voice, courage, and kindness touched many lives.

Camryn’s mother later confirmed there will be no public memorial service. Born with a passion for music, Camryn began her career at just eight years old. She gained early attention through YouTube covers and soon toured with Greyson Chance and Cody Simpson. In 2012, she reached a major milestone by opening for One Direction on their Up All Night Tour, later returning for their Take Me Home Tour in 2013.

In 2016, she opened for Fifth Harmony during their 7/27 Tour. Camryn released several singles and her 2021 Love Maps EP showcased a more mature, introspective sound. She is survived by her parents, siblings, and fiancé, Christian. She was 26 years old.
