Mel Gibson’s Son Milo Has Grown Up — Fans Can’t Get Over How Much He Looks Like His Dad

Hollywood icon Mel Gibson celebrated his 67th birthday on January 3, and attention has also turned to his son, Milo Gibson, who is steadily building an acting career of his own—while strongly resembling his famous father. Now 32, Milo has appeared in films such as Hacksaw Ridge and Under the Stadium Lights.

He is one of six children from Mel Gibson’s marriage to Robyn Moore and part of a family of nine siblings. Although acting now seems natural, Milo didn’t immediately follow in his father’s footsteps. He worked as a masseuse and electrician, choosing hands-on, blue-collar jobs before embracing acting.

“We didn’t grow up in the Hollywood lifestyle clique,” Milo told W Magazine, explaining that he wanted real-world experience before pursuing film. As he matured, however, he realized acting was his true passion and didn’t want to live with regrets. After studying drama in Santa Monica, Milo officially entered acting in 2016.

His breakthrough came as Lucky Ford in Hacksaw Ridge, directed by his father and starring Andrew Garfield and Vince Vaughn. He later appeared in The Outpost, Gangster Land (as Al Capone), Manifest West, and starred in Breaking and Entering. Mel Gibson has offered lasting advice: be truthful to the character and forget the camera. While Milo keeps his personal life private, he’s also explored modeling and remains open to wherever his career leads.
