Mark Bryan, a 61-year-old married father of three, has spent the past several years challenging gender norms by wearing skirts and high heels to work. A robotics engineer manager living in Germany, Mark gained widespread attention on social media for his bold office outfits, amassing more than 73,000 followers.
Mark says his fashion choices have nothing to do with sexuality and everything to do with comfort, style, and self-expression. On Instagram, he describes himself as a straight, happily married man who loves cars, fashion, and incorporating heels and skirts into his daily wardrobe. His goal, he says, is to show that men can remain masculine while wearing clothing traditionally labeled as feminine.
In interviews, Mark has explained that skirts are practical and comfortable, while heels simply complete the look. He emphasizes that he is still the same husband, father, and professional he has always been. Even his family supports him—his daughter has joked about borrowing his shoes.

At work, Mark says his colleagues were unfazed. He had already been wearing heels with trousers, so skirts were a natural next step. Even while working from home during the pandemic, Mark continued embracing his signature style, proving that confidence—not clothing—defines who you are.
