Latest Update on Turning Point USA’s Halftime Show

For the 2026 Super Bowl, Turning Point USA (TPUSA) announced an alternative to the official halftime show headlined by Bad Bunny. The group promoted its own livestream event, called “The All-American Halftime Show,” positioned as a celebration of “faith, family, and freedom,” running at the same time as the official performance.

TPUSA, a U.S. nonprofit founded in 2012 by conservative activist Charlie Kirk, moved forward with the event despite criticism and political disagreements surrounding the choice of Bad Bunny as the official halftime performer. The alternative show features a lineup led by Kid Rock, along with Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett.

Recently, TPUSA shared an important update regarding how viewers can watch the event. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the organization announced: “UPDATE: Due to licensing restrictions, we are unable to stream The All-American Halftime Show on X.” They then directed viewers to watch the full broadcast on their YouTube channel around 8 PM ET instead.

The announcement sparked mixed reactions online. Some users criticized the lack of a direct link, saying it made access difficult, while others questioned the planning behind the streaming changes. A few commenters expressed frustration, calling the situation disorganized.

Despite the challenges, the alternative halftime show is still expected to air as planned, offering viewers another option during the Super Bowl halftime break.
