He looked stunned hearing their words, but it was too late.
The judge granted me full custody, the house, and most assets.
And best of all? He was ordered to pay me spousal support.

Peter had tried to stay married to avoid paying for his children.
Instead, he lost his family and pays even more every month.
As we left the courthouse, my daughter asked if we’d be okay.
“We’ll be free,” I said and that freedom was priceless.
