Posted on June 8, 2025June 8, 2025 By admin

Albuquerque, NM:
On May 24, a house fire revealed the bodies of Stephen (76), Marcia (77), and their son Erik (48). Later, another son, Andrew (35), was found dead by suicide. Authorities believe Andrew shot his family before setting the fire and taking his own life. A note was found but not released; officials cite mental health issues as a factor.

Buenos Aires, Argentina:
On May 21, a housekeeper discovered the bodies of Laura Leguizamón (50), her husband Bernardo Seltzer (53), and their sons Ian (15) and Ivo (12), all stabbed. Police believe Laura, who had stopped psychiatric treatment, killed her family before taking her own life. Her final Facebook post hinted at unraveling mental health.

These unrelated tragedies share haunting similarities—sudden violence within families, mental health warnings, and irreversible loss. They underscore the urgent need for early intervention and support.

If you or someone you know is struggling, call 1-800-273-TALK (8255) or text “HELLO” to 741-741. Help is always available.
