Ingredients:
For the Patties:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup minced onion
- ¼ cup breadcrumbs
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt, pepper, thyme, rosemary
For the Gravy:
- 1 sliced onion
- 8 oz sliced mushrooms
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 packet brown gravy mix
- Ketchup, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire
- Cornstarch + water to thicken
Instructions:
- Mix patties from beef and seasonings; shape into 4 ovals.
- Brown patties in olive oil (3–4 minutes per side).
- Layer slow cooker with onions, mushrooms, and patties.
- Mix gravy ingredients and pour over.
- Cook on LOW for 5–6 hours or HIGH for 2½–3½ hours.
- Thicken gravy with cornstarch slurry; cook 10–15 more minutes.
