A Christmas Morning Surprise Paul Won’t Forget

Posted on July 27, 2025 By admin

Paul woke up on Christmas morning feeling groggy and confused. On his nightstand sat a glass of water, an aspirin, and a neatly folded note from his wife wishing him a good morning and promising a warm breakfast. The room was spotless, and even his clothes were folded—surprisingly tidy for someone who didn’t remember much from the night before.

Still piecing things together, Paul asked his son what had happened. Without missing a beat, his son explained that Paul had come home a bit too festive, bumped into the door, and accidentally knocked over the coffee table. It sounded like quite the holiday entrance, though Paul didn’t remember any of it.

Puzzled by how calm and clean everything looked, Paul asked why his wife hadn’t been upset. His son chuckled and replied, “Because when she tried to help you, you shouted, ‘Leave me alone! I’m married!’” Even in his confusion, Paul managed to stay loyal—if a bit dramatically so.

Paul’s Christmas may have started with a headache, but it came with a side of holiday humor, forgiveness, and a reminder that love sometimes means laughing through the mess. After all, it’s the little moments that make family memories—especially when they come with aspirin and a home-cooked meal.
