During a round in the “People” category, the puzzle read:
N_ T – _ N _ R _ T _ _ N TH_ After correctly guessing the letter “N,” Matt confidently blurted out: “The Greatest Buttercut.”
The correct answer? “The Next Generation.”
It was a hilarious misstep—but Matt still walked away with $23,350, so the sting probably didn’t last too long.
