Keanu Reeves recently revealed he shattered his kneecap while filming the comedy Good Fortune—but it wasn’t during a stunt. On The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Reeves said the injury happened after a cold plunge scene with Aziz Ansari and Seth Rogen.
While walking into a dressing room, his foot caught on a carpet pocket, causing his knee to buckle and his patella to “crack like a potato chip.”
Back in January, he was spotted filming on crutches with an ice pack, but he’s since recovered and is back to work alongside Ansari, Sandra Oh, and Keke Palmer. Reeves joked, “Comedy is hard, man,” reassuring fans he’s doing fine.
