A couple have left people baffled with their pregnancy news as Giuseppe D’Anna is 57 years younger than his ‘other half’ – now the 19-year-old has finally revealed the truth
A 19-year-old man left social media users horrified after announcing baby news with a woman 57 years his senior – but it turns out that all is not as it seems.
Giuseppe D’Anna stunned his 80,000 Instagram followers when he shared a video with his ‘fiancée’, 76-year-old Milina Gatta. The couple went viral in May 2022 when they shared details of their relationship – but trolls came out in droves to share how much they disapproved of their love, despite him posting a heartwarming picture captioned: “La nostra promessa”, which translates to “our promise”.
Now, it turns out that the pair have announced that they’re expecting a baby – but some are saying it’s “impossible”.
Many commenters instantly questioned their news, as one wrote: “It’s impossible to get pregnant when granny has hit her menopausal stage.”
Another said: “She’s old enough to be your greatest grandma.”
While a third added: “Lies, she’s not pregnant, impossible!”
Someone else insinuated that Giuseppe is a gold digger by writing: “Money can do anything hence proved”, and “this is creepy.”
Others have come out in support for the couple, however, especially after seeing their proposal where his bride-to-be held a red rose in one of the photos.
Someone said: “It’s a happy couple, and they’re not going to waste time explaining something that most people don’t understand.”
However, all is not as it seems, and Giuseppe has told Jam Press exclusively that the entire relationship is a hoax – he decided to gain notoriety online by pranking his followers.
He first uploaded a clip of Milina, who is indeed his grandmother, as a joke, but after the pair went viral, he decided to run with it.
“Yes, Milina is my grandmother”, he confirmed.
