At barely 62 years old, the legendary actor is unrecognizable

Hugh Laurie Spotted with Unrecognizable New Look

Over the weekend, 62-year-old Hugh Laurie, known for House and Blackadder, was seen walking his dog with a bushy beard, looking nearly unrecognizable. Dressed casually in dark jeans, sneakers, a navy pullover, and a blue beanie, he enjoyed a sunny, low-key outing.

Laurie is eagerly anticipating the release of Why Didn’t They Ask Evans?, a miniseries based on Agatha Christie’s 1934 murder mystery. Laurie directs the series and plays psychotherapist Dr. James Nicholson.

The show stars Will Poulter as Bobby Jones, a vicar’s son, and Lucy Boynton as Lady Frances Derwent, who team up to solve a murder. Emma Thompson and Jim Broadbent portray Lady Frances’ aristocratic parents.

Laurie expressed his passion for the project, saying, “I loved this book as a child. The mystery still gives me chills. It’s an honor to bring these characters to life.”
